We will give you the tools to:
· Teach your dog to greet strangers without jumping up
· Teach your dog to accept being examined by a stranger
(your veterinarian will be pleased about this one!)
· Teach your dog to walk beside you sensibly on a leash
· Teach your dog to sit, lie down and stand on command
· Teach your dog to stay when told
We will also help you develop a satisfying relationship with your dog by:
· Giving you a 1/2 hour private lesson for any individual questions
or concerns (must be used within the 8-week session)
· Showing you how to teach a few fun tricks
· Introducing you to the fundamentals of clicker training
· Teaching your dog some fun early agility skills
During the course of the 8-weeks we will be happy to advise on any other concerns you may have.
WE WOULD ASK YOU PLEASE NOT TO BRING DOGS TO THE FIRST WEEK OF THIS COURSE. THIS TIME WILL BE SPENT EXPLAINING HOW DOGS LEARN. THIS INFORMATION IS ESSENTIAL AND WILL ENSURE THAT THE REST OF YOUR TRAINING GOES SMOOTHLY. WHEN YOU UNDERSTAND HOW YOUR DOG LEARNS, YOU WILL KNOW HOW TO TEACH HIM ANYTHING YOU'D LIKE HIM TO DO.
